Childhood ADHD Study

Child Health Study

We are currently recruiting healthy youth ages 6-12 years for a study examining behavior, cognition, 

emotion regulation, and heart health across development.   See PARTICIPATE section to learn how you can help!

Disruptive Behavior Study

​

A current project explores behavior, cognition, and emotion regulation in children with disruptive behavior problems, as well as in healthy youth. Currently recrutiting both children with disruptive behavior problems ages 6-12 years.  See PARTICIPATE section to learn how you can help!

Teen Cannabis Abuse Study

​

We are recruiting teens ages 14-16 years to examine behavior and emotion regulation in teens with various experience with cannabis abuse to advance the understanding of the role of emotion and its regulation in addiction. No cannabis is given nor is its use supported or encouraged.See PARTICIPATE section to learn how you can help!

OUR COLLABORATIONS

Child Narrative Study

In collaboration with Dr. J. Zoe Klemfuss, we are currently conducting a project examing how children develop narratives for emotional or stressful events. We are currently recruiting children ages 8-12 years old.  For more information, contact Dr. Klemfuss at jklemfus@fiu.edu.

Child Attention & Memory Study

In collaboration with Dr. Joseph Raiker, we are currently conducting a project examing how children's attentional and memory-related processes. We are currently recruiting children ages 6-12 years old both with and without ADHD.  For more information, contact Dr. Raiker at jraiker@fiu.edu.
